Freelance Instructor – Leadership & Personal Development SHORT TERM CONTRACT

Role Overview VETWORK is supporting an upcoming short-term training programme in the UAE and is seeking experienced freelance instructors to deliver a structured programme focused on leadership, personal development and associated professional skills. The programme will be delivered to high-school graduates / young adult learners and will require instructors who are confident engaging groups, delivering structured learning material and creating a positive, professional classroom environment. We are looking for both: English-speaking instructors Arabic-speaking instructors with strong English capability This is an urgent requirement, with successful instructors expected to be available for the full 10-day delivery period commencing 14 September 2026. Key Responsibilities Deliver instructor-led training in leadership and personal development Facilitate engaging classroom discussions, exercises and group activities Present course material clearly and professionally Adapt delivery style to suit young adult learners Encourage participation, teamwork and confidence within the learner group Maintain professional standards throughout the programme Follow the agreed course structure, learning objectives and delivery schedule Provide feedback and support to learners where required Work collaboratively with programme management and other instructors Complete any required attendance, assessment or programme administration Candidate Requirements Candidates should have: Previous experience as an instructor, trainer, teacher, facilitator or professional educator Strong presentation and communication skills Confidence delivering training to groups Experience working with young adults, graduates, military personnel, government personnel or professional learners is advantageous Experience delivering leadership, personal development, employability, communication, teamwork or similar subjects is desirable Strong interpersonal and classroom-management skills Professional and reliable approach to delivery Ability to work within a structured programme and follow defined learning outcomes Essential Must currently reside in the UAE Must already have the legal ability to undertake freelance/contract work in the UAE as applicable Must be available from 14 September 2026 Preference will be given to candidates available for the entire 10-day programme Fluent English required Arabic/English bilingual capability highly desirable for Arabic-language delivery positions Desirable Backgrounds Applications are particularly welcomed from individuals with backgrounds in: Leadership development Personal development Education and training Military or defence instruction Police or security training Government training Coaching and mentoring Employability and career development Corporate learning and development Youth development Communication and teamwork training Contract Information This is a freelance engagement rather than a permanent employment position.
