Welcome to UAE-Vetwork! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the UAE-Vetwork website, platform, free profile services, and paid career services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Gulf Vetwork FZC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY REGISTERING FOR, ACCESSING, OR USING ANY PART OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING PURCHASING CAREER SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH IS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE.

1. Acceptance and Modification of Terms

1.1. Initial Acceptance: You accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy when you create an account on the UAE-Vetwork platform. Your agreement is recorded via a timestamp (policy_accepted_at) upon successful registration. For paid Career Services, your proceeding with a purchase after being presented with these Terms (e.g., at checkout or on the service requirements form) also constitutes acceptance of these Terms as they apply to those services.

1.2. Modifications and Re-Acceptance: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on the Service with a new “Last updated” date.

  • For minor changes or clarifications, your continued access or use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • For material changes (e.g., changes significantly altering your rights or obligations, introducing fees for existing free core services, or fundamentally changing the Service), we will provide you with notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect (e.g., via email or an in-app notification). For such material changes, we may require you to actively re-accept the updated Terms (e.g., by clicking an “I Agree” button) upon your next login or before your next service purchase to continue using the Service. If you do not agree to the material changes, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1. Registration: Account registration for the platform is handled via our third-party provider, Clerk. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3.2. Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (password, etc.) and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Service Description

4.1. Platform Services (Free): The core UAE-Vetwork platform allows users to create a professional profile, input relevant career and background data, and upload documents (like CVs and cover letters). Our internal recruitment team reviews user profiles to identify potential suitability for job opportunities with employers in the UAE/GCC. This core platform service is free for individual users.

Important (Platform Services): The platform is not an automated job application portal. If our team identifies a potential match between you and an employer's requirements, we will contact you first to seek your explicit consent before sharing your profile information and documents with that specific employer. There is no guarantee of a match or employment outcome from using the free platform services.

4.2. Paid Career Services: We also offer a range of paid career services, such as CV reviews, cover letter reviews, LinkedIn profile reviews, interview preparation, and bundled packages (collectively, “Career Services”). Descriptions and pricing for these Career Services are provided on our website. These Career Services are governed by the additional terms outlined in Section 6.

5. Fees and Payment (Platform Services)

The core platform services described in Section 4.1 are free for individual users (job seekers). Fees for paid Career Services are addressed in Section 6.

6. Paid Career Services

The following terms apply specifically to your purchase and our provision of paid Career Services:

6.1. Service Descriptions and Orders: Details of each Career Service, including its scope, features, and price, are available on our website. By placing an order for a Career Service, you agree to purchase that service according to its description and these Terms.

6.2. Payment:

  • All prices for Career Services are listed in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) unless otherwise stated and are payable at the time of order.
  • We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle all payments for Career Services. By making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order.
  • Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy, which you should review. We do not store your full credit card details. We receive payment confirmation and transaction identifiers from Stripe.

6.3. User Obligations for Service Fulfillment:

  • After payment, you will be required to submit necessary information and documents (e.g., your CV, cover letter, LinkedIn profile URL, specific requests) via a service requirements form on our platform.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information as requested for the fulfillment of your chosen Career Service. Delays or deficiencies in the information you provide may impact service delivery times and quality.

6.4. Service Delivery and Fulfillment:

  • Upon submission of your service requirements, we will endeavor to deliver the Career Service within the estimated turnaround times indicated in the service description (e.g., “2-3 working days”). These timelines are estimates and not guaranteed, as they may be affected by the complexity of your request, the completeness of information provided, current demand, or other factors beyond our reasonable control. We will inform you of any significant anticipated delays.
  • To fulfill your Career Service request, we may utilize our internal team of experts or engage trusted and vetted third-party career service professionals (e.g., freelance CV writers, career coaches) who specialize in the relevant area.
  • As detailed in our Privacy Policy, if your service involves sharing your data with such a third-party fulfiller, we will obtain your explicit consent for this sharing (typically via a checkbox on the service requirements form) before any such sharing occurs. These third parties are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements with us.

6.5. Refund Policy:

  • All refund requests for Career Services will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. We do not offer partial refunds; any approved refund will be for the full amount paid for the specific service in question.
  • To request a refund, please contact us at contactus@uae-vetwork.com with your order details and reason for the request.
  • A full refund is generally more likely if requested promptly after purchase and before substantive work has commenced on your service request by our team or our trusted career partners. Due to the nature of our services, once work has begun, our ability to offer a refund is limited.
  • If, after being informed on our Career Services page prior to purchase about the potential need for partner involvement and the subsequent requirement for your specific consent, you choose not to provide this consent on the service requirements form before substantive work has commenced on your service, you will be eligible for a full refund for that specific service.
  • If you believe the service delivered is demonstrably not as described or of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us within 7 days of service delivery to discuss your concerns. We may, at our discretion, offer a revision of the work or a full refund.
  • No refunds are generally provided once work has substantially begun, the service has been delivered to your satisfaction, or if dissatisfaction is due to incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you, or subjective preferences beyond the reasonable scope of the service description.
  • Processing Time for Approved Refunds: Please note that if a refund is approved and processed by us via Stripe, it typically takes 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your bank or card statement, depending on your financial institution. Stripe's fees for the original payment are not returned to us, and we do not charge additional fees for processing a refund.

6.6. Intellectual Property of Service Output:

  • You retain full ownership of your original documents (e.g., your base CV, cover letter) that you submit to us.
  • For Career Services that involve providing you with feedback, marked-up documents, written advice, or coaching (the “Service Output”), we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the Service Output for your personal, non-commercial career advancement purposes.
  • Gulf Vetwork FZC retains all intellectual property rights in its underlying methodologies, templates, general advice frameworks, and proprietary processes used to create the Service Output.

6.7. Disclaimers for Career Services:

  • Our Career Services are designed to assist you in improving your application materials and interview skills. However, we make no guarantees, express or implied, regarding job placement, interview offers, or any specific career outcomes as a result of using our Career Services.
  • The advice and feedback provided are based on our professional expertise and understanding of the job market, but ultimate success depends on various factors beyond our control, including market conditions, your qualifications, and your efforts.

7. User Conduct and Responsibilities (General)

You agree to use all aspects of the Service responsibly and lawfully. You agree not to:

  • Provide any false, inaccurate, or misleading information in your profile, documents, or service request forms.
  • Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Upload or transmit any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party.
  • Upload or transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and the accuracy of the information you provide.

8. Intellectual Property Rights (Platform)

The Service (excluding user-submitted content and specific Career Service Outputs as defined in 6.6) and its original content, features, functionality, and underlying software are and will remain the exclusive property of Gulf Vetwork FZC and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Arab Emirates and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes as intended through the provided functionality and under these Terms.

9. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal data in connection with the Service (including both free platform services and paid Career Services) are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

10. Marketing Communications

As detailed in the Privacy Policy, we will only send you marketing communications if you explicitly opt-in via your user dashboard. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

11. Data Subject Requests

To exercise any rights you may have regarding your personal data (such as access or deletion), please contact us as outlined in the Privacy Policy at contactus@uae-vetwork.com.

12. Disclaimers (General)

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY STATED FOR PAID CAREER SERVICES, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

GULF VETWORK FZC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT (FOR THE FREE PLATFORM):

  • A) THE SERVICE WILL FUNCTION UNINTERRUPTED, SECURELY, OR BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION;
  • B) ANY ERRORS OR DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED;
  • C) THE SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR
  • D) THE RESULTS OF USING THE FREE PLATFORM SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS.

WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES REGARDING THE LIKELIHOOD OF BEING MATCHED WITH AN EMPLOYER OR OBTAINING EMPLOYMENT THROUGH THE USE OF THE FREE PLATFORM SERVICE. THE RECRUITMENT TEAM'S REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED AND THEIR PROFESSIONAL JUDGMENT.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GULF VETWORK FZC, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE (INCLUDING EMPLOYERS WITH WHOM DATA IS SHARED WITH YOUR CONSENT, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE FULFILLERS); (III) ANY CONTENT OR SERVICE OUTPUT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

IN JURISDICTIONS WHERE THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES IS NOT ALLOWED, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY DIRECT DAMAGES ARISING UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY PAID CAREER SERVICES, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SPECIFIC CAREER SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE PRECEDING THREE (3) MONTHS, OR (B) IF NO FEES WERE PAID, ONE HUNDRED AED (AED 100).

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gulf Vetwork FZC and its affiliates, licensors, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of: a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) content you post or upload to the Service or submit for Career Services.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service (or parts thereof) immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by using the account deletion feature within the Service (via Clerk) or by contacting us. Termination of your account does not automatically entitle you to a refund for any pre-paid Career Services where work has commenced or been completed.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions (Section 8, 6.6), warranty disclaimers (Section 12, 6.7), indemnity (Section 14), and limitations of liability (Section 13).

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall first be subject to good faith negotiation between the parties for a period of thirty (30) days. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre (Tahkeem) in accordance with its Arbitration Rules. The seat, or legal place, of arbitration shall be Sharjah, UAE. The language of the arbitration shall be English.

17. General Terms

Entire Agreement: These Terms and the incorporated Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Gulf Vetwork FZC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. Any attempt by you to assign or transfer these Terms, without such consent, will be null and void. We may freely assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.
