Maintenance Test Pilot (Bell 407)

Vetwork is supporting a major rotary-wing aviation programme in the UAE and is seeking an experienced Maintenance Test Pilot (Bell 407) to support operational flight and aircraft validation activities. This position requires a highly experienced rotary-wing pilot with proven maintenance test flight capability and a strong background operating within military or operational aviation environments. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring aircraft serviceability, performance, and operational readiness following maintenance activity. Key responsibilities include conducting maintenance and functional check flights on Bell 407 aircraft, assessing aircraft handling and systems performance following scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, supporting engineering teams during troubleshooting and fault verification activities, identifying and reporting technical issues, and ensuring all flight operations are conducted safely and in accordance with approved procedures. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ aviation experience, including at least 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) and a minimum of 200 hours Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) time on the Bell 407 platform. Candidates must hold a valid pilot licence with a recognised Test Pilot rating and possess a valid aviation medical certificate. Previous military aviation experience is essential.
