Instructor – Avionics (AS550)

Vetwork is supporting a major aviation training and maintenance programme in the UAE and is seeking an experienced Instructor – Avionics (AS550) to deliver technical avionics instruction within a rotary-wing aviation environment. This role is ideal for experienced avionics professionals with strong instructional capability and proven hands-on experience supporting AS550 aircraft systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical training, supporting maintenance capability development, and ensuring personnel are trained to recognised operational and technical standards. Key responsibilities include delivering classroom and practical instruction relating to aircraft avionics, communication, navigation and electrical systems, developing and adapting technical training materials, supporting trainee development and technical assessments, mentoring maintenance personnel, and ensuring training delivery aligns with approved maintenance procedures and operational requirements. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering avionics instruction within an aviation maintenance or technical training environment, ideally within military or operational aviation organisations. Candidates should hold either an FCC licence or an equivalent avionics maintenance qualification. Instructional techniques or Train-the-Trainer certifications recognised by civilian or military aviation authorities are highly desirable. Previous hands-on avionics maintenance experience on the AS550 platform is essential.
