Job description
Regional Marketing Director – Central Region
Location: Germany-based / Central Europe
Salary: €140,000–€160,000
Sector: Cybersecurity / IT Distribution / Vendor & Channel Marketing
Client: Confidential global cybersecurity business
VETWORK is supporting a confidential global cybersecurity and digital infrastructure business with the appointment of a senior Regional Marketing Director for its Central Region.
This is a high-impact regional leadership role for an experienced B2B technology marketing leader who can translate commercial priorities into measurable pipeline, revenue, partner and customer outcomes.
The successful candidate will act as the principal marketing advisor to regional leadership, working closely with the Regional VP, country leaders, sales teams, vendor teams, partners and global marketing stakeholders.
This is a role for someone who can combine strategic marketing leadership with commercial discipline, executive communication and hands-on execution across a complex multi-country environment.
This is not a purely brand, events or campaign delivery role. The client requires a commercially minded marketing leader who can connect marketing investment directly to business performance.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will lead regional marketing strategy and execution across the Central Region, ensuring marketing activity is aligned to revenue priorities, vendor objectives, partner engagement and customer demand.
They will own the regional marketing operating rhythm, including annual planning, quarterly reviews, campaign governance, executive reporting, budget visibility, MDF effectiveness and ROI measurement.
The role sits at the intersection of sales, vendors, partners, regional leadership and global marketing, and requires someone who can bring structure, transparency and commercial impact to regional marketing activity.
The Regional Marketing Director will be expected to provide clear visibility of planned activity, expected outcomes, resource requirements, risks, trade-offs and performance.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
• Developing and owning the regional marketing strategy and annual operating plan.
• Translating regional business priorities into measurable marketing programmes.
• Acting as the senior marketing business partner to the Regional VP and regional leadership team.
• Building a clear annual and quarterly marketing planning rhythm.
• Creating a rolling 6–12-month regional marketing calendar across demand generation, vendor campaigns, partner activity, events, digital programmes and strategic communications.
• Aligning regional, country, vendor, partner and global marketing priorities.
• Leading regional campaign execution with clear objectives, target audiences, budgets, owners, timelines and success measures.
• Ensuring all major campaigns are commercially aligned and supported by sales follow-up.
• Managing vendor-funded marketing activity and MDF investment to deliver measurable return.
• Building senior relationships with strategic vendor marketing teams.
• Strengthening partner and customer marketing across the region.
• Tracking marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline, campaign ROI, lead conversion, partner activation and MDF effectiveness.
• Providing regular executive updates on marketing performance, budget utilisation, risks, dependencies and required decisions.
• Leading and developing the regional marketing team, ensuring clear accountability, operating discipline and measurable outcomes.
• Maintaining compliance with brand, legal, data protection, governance and financial requirements.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an outstanding candidate with:
• 10+ years of B2B marketing leadership experience.

• Experience translating commercial strategy and revenue targets into measurable marketing plans.
• Strong understanding of pipeline generation, pipeline acceleration and marketing-influenced revenue.
• Experience managing multi-country regional marketing activity.
• Strong knowledge of vendor-funded marketing, MDF governance and partner/channel marketing models.
• Ability to lead annual planning, quarterly business reviews, monthly reporting and campaign governance.
• Strong stakeholder management across sales, vendors, partners, country teams and global marketing.
• Excellent executive communication skills.
• Strong budget planning, ROI tracking and performance analytics capability.
• Experience leading and developing regional or multi-country marketing teams.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining close to execution.
