Mirage 2000 Engine Technician Location: UAE Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Project / Contract Salary: TBC Role Overview VETWORK is supporting an immediate requirement for experienced Mirage 2000 Engine Technicians to join a major aviation programme in the UAE. We are seeking technicians with strong hands-on experience in the maintenance, inspection, servicing and repair of Mirage 2000 engine systems, ideally within a military aviation environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled and unscheduled engine maintenance Perform engine inspections, servicing, fault diagnosis and rectification Support engine removal, installation and replacement activities Conduct component changes and associated maintenance tasks Work in accordance with approved technical publications and maintenance procedures Accurately complete maintenance documentation and technical records Maintain strict compliance with aviation safety, quality and FOD procedures Support operational aircraft availability and maintenance requirements Essential Requirements Proven hands-on experience as a Mirage 2000 Engine Technician Experience maintaining the SNECMA/Safran M53 engine or directly relevant Mirage 2000 propulsion systems Strong understanding of military aircraft engine maintenance procedures Experience with inspections, troubleshooting, servicing and engine removal/installation Ability to interpret technical manuals, maintenance documentation and engineering instructions Strong commitment to aviation safety and quality standards Ability to mobilise at short notice Highly Desirable Previous Mirage 2000 operational or MRO experience OEM or military technical training relating to the Mirage 2000 / M53 engine Previous experience working within the UAE or GCC Military aviation maintenance background Application This is an immediate requirement.
