CH-47 Avionics Technician

Vetwork is supporting a high-priority aviation programme in the UAE and is seeking experienced CH-47 Avionics Technicians to support ongoing rotary-wing maintenance operations. This role is suited to avionics specialists with proven hands-on experience on the CH-47 platform, particularly those with a strong background in electrical, communication, navigation and mission system fault-finding. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing avionics systems to ensure aircraft remain safe, serviceable and operationally ready. Key responsibilities include carrying out scheduled and unscheduled avionics maintenance on CH-47 aircraft, diagnosing faults across aircraft electrical and avionics systems, repairing and replacing communication and navigation equipment, supporting operational maintenance activity, completing maintenance documentation accurately, and working in accordance with approved technical publications, safety standards and maintenance procedures. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ aviation maintenance experience, including at least 3 years’ maintenance experience on the CH-47F model. A strong background in military or operational aviation environments is highly desirable. An FCC licence is preferred. Candidates who do not hold an FCC licence should ideally hold an Army 15N MOS qualification diploma or certificate, or an equivalent avionics maintenance qualification. Experience on the CH-47 platform is essential.
